ZyEdge started in 2001 to fill the void in managed IT services for small-to-medium sized businesses (SMBs). While enterprise organizations could justify staffing large IT departments with many diverse technical positions, SMBs were uniquely challenged to address their sporadic IT needs on an as-needed basis and extract the most value.
Mr. Gerenstein, ZyEdge's President and CEO, realized that the SMB IT staff only provided part of the business solution for their employers.
