Data/Voice Cabling

ZyEdge provides extensive cabling design and implementation services. In our cable plant design, we objectively consider all appropriate options without bias toward any particular product or manufacturer. Our wiring and cabling is compatible with AT&T Premises Distribution System, Digital DEConnect, IBM Cabling Systems, Northern Telecom IBDN Wiring, and Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN).

Our installation is designed to be compatible with all brands of products and technology. Data cabling is designed to handle any signaling scheme up to and including 1000Mbps.

• This includes Ethernet and Fiber at 10/100/1000 Mbps
  
• The cabling plant is backward compatible with these and any other signaling schemes utilizing 24 AWG copper conductors at speeds of under 100Mbps.
  
• This includes IBM 3270, 3X and AS/400 environments, Wang VS, RS-232C, and AppleTalk.
  
• As designed, the voice network complies with AT&T SYSTIMAX Premise Distribution System (PDS) requirements.
  
• Traditional voice lines can be converted to data use by simply relocating a patch cord.

All products specified in this cabling plant are intended to be generic, non-proprietary products that assure complete independence. Any equipment or component that meets the ANSI/EIA/TIA-568-A standard will be compatible with this system. Therefore, the user is free to choose between an unlimited number of suppliers for active equipment such as switches or routers. ZyEdge cable deployment services ensure a cabling infrastructure that will meet both your current and future needs.
